It is the mission of the Parking Division to provide and maintain a safe and uncongested means for the movement and parking of vehicular traffic on the campus of SIUC.  This  includes  making spaces available to those enrolled students, faculty, staff and guests, involved in advancing  the academic, service, and administrative functions of the University.

Parking Division Revenue

All revenues derived as a result of the Traffic, Parking, and Bicycle Rules and Regulations are to be used for associated costs throughout campus. Expenditure of the funds include, but are not limited to:

• Operation of the Parking Division Office and Appeals Procedures
• Construction, renovation, maintenance and operations connected with campus streets, drives, roads, and bicycle ways
• Parking and traffic control of motor vehicles and bicycles on the campus of SIUC
• Snow removal from campus streets
• Mowing around campus parking lots
• Maintaining campus outdoor lighting for parking lots and roadways
