The offices of the Department of Public Safety are located in the Washington Square complex at 701 South Washington Street, northwest of the Student Recreation Center.

The Police Department is open 24 hours a day. The police administrative office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Parking Division is open from 7:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Emergencies
In an emergency dial 911, or use a Blue Light Emergency Call Box located around campus. An officer will be dispatched to your location immediately. Other agencies, such as fire or ambulance, will be notified by the dispatcher as needed. For non-emergencies, dial (618) 453-DPS1 (3771). Be prepared to give the dispatcher your name, location, and a description of the incident.
